Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, 2017

CubAmistad held a workshop, “El Arte y el Camino a la Equidad” (Art and the Path to Equity), at the Monroe County Public Library on January 16, 2017. Students and others were invited to use recycled materials to make books, posters, and displays illustrating some of Dr. King’s ideas. In the photos below, CubAmistad members Velma Davis, Cynthia Roberts, Taylor Roberts, Michelle Henderson, and Gabriele Coolidge pose with workshop participants.
